Child Car Seats

O.K., a rare serious post.  Consumer Reports released a report stating that most of the infant seats they tested failed their crash tests.  They are now saying that their testing methodolgy was flawed and that they are going to re-test the seats.
Important point to take away from this whole thing, regardless of what the performance of an individual seat might be, ANY car seat is safer than NO car seat.
In many states it’s the law, in EVERY state it’s a good idea.  Put your kids in car seats, fill out and mail in the registration cards so that you can be notified of recalls, buckle up and drive safely.
Consumer Reports will be releasing their updated tests as soon as possible – check them when they come out so you can see how each individual model of seat fared.
