A good trashbag is worth a mil…
I’m not terribly dainty with trash bags and I *HATE* a trashbag that rips and comes apart. When you’re shopping for trashbags pay attention to a number other than the price. It’s called the "mil" and it tells you how thick the plastic of the bag is. Anything under about .5 I wouldn’t use for much. I prefer, especially for kitchen trash and other large trash needs, at least 1.0 mil.
For the big trash bags I will often use the Lawn & Leaf bags you can get at Home Depot. Those are usually nearly 1.5 mil and you can toss almost anything in them without breaking them.
